“The truth may hurt, but is not mean, as my friend Andrew Breitbart would say. The truth is the major challengers to incumbent Republican Senators — Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas, and Chris McDaniel in Mississippi — are behind.
This is not to say they cannot win. I believe they can. But, this is to say that for them to win, their campaigns and our efforts must be kicked into high gear.
A Fond Farewell To Kathleen Sebelius
A video tribute to the to tremendous tenure of one Super Sebelius. Ahhh, memories.
Filmmaker Dennis Michael Lynch went down to the Bundy ranch this weekend. In this video he breaks down the standoff between ranchers, federal gov’t for Megyn Kelly. At one point in this video Mr Lynch said this:
“Fox was the only truck in that parking lot and that is disgusting because the entire country should know what is going on…”

Here’s a little levity on Tax Day (if that’s possible). You may rest assured, however, that every cent you pay will be put to good use. And by the way, I’m sure all those folks out there with free cell phones are extending you their warm appreciation. Whether or not you’ve heard Pharrell’s hit song “Happy,” you can appreciate this Tax Day parody by Reason’s Remy.

On Monday, April 14th former ACORN whistleblower and True the Vote spokesperson Anita Moncrief announced the launching of a new PAC, The Black Conservatives Fund:
“I am proud to be on the board of a new PAC, The Black Conservative Fund. BCF will support black conservative and Republican candidates. We are also focusing on education, training, challenging race baiters/hustlers and working together to improve our communities.
“Our website http://blackconservativesfund.com is live and our proud board members are: Ken Blackwell, CL Bryant, Sonnie Johnson, Erik Rush, Kevin Daniels, Princella Smith, KCarl Smith, Alfonzo Rachel, Ron Miller, myself and others.”
The press release announcing the launch stated the following: Black Conservatives Fund is committed to supporting black conservatives who are dedicated to spreading the message of limited government and traditional values. The organization will support candidates through direct contributions in addition to web, TV, and radio advertisements, conducting get-out-the-vote drives, and funding other activities that BCF endorsed candidates may need. “All across America, black conservatives are running for office in record numbers. The lock that the liberals have held on the black vote is slowly but surely breaking,” said Anita Moncrief, a founding member of BCF’s board of advisors. You may find the complete press release here.
The BCF came out slugging and wasted no time announcing that the first two candidates it is supporting are T. W. Shannon, running for Congress from Oklahoma, and Mia Love, running a second campaign for Congress from Utah.

From Erick Erickson, RedState.com
“But the problem is and has always been government — not just the wrong party in charge of it. Republicans in Washington were never the Party of Reagan. Every nominee of the party since Reagan, save John McCain, was against Reagan in 1980. The party has always has patrician, paternalist instincts. Those instincts now run toward their donors, whose money they think can preserve their power. That power, and the ability to use government for their own ends, is precious to them.
Instead of doing what is right for main street, the party is inclined to do what is right to its top donors. But the donors and activists all get one vote each. There are more of us than them.
We must keep up the fight in the primaries. We must continue replacing bad Republicans with better Republicans.”
As reported by godfatherpolitics.com: Follow the money and you’ll inevitably find out what’s really going on.
In the case of Clark County, Nevada, rancher Cliven Bundy’s standoff with federal agents from the Bureau of Land Management, the leading explanation has been that he hasn’t paid grazing fees and his cattle threaten endangered desert tortoises in the Gold Butte area.
But the fact of the BLM bringing in hundreds of armed rangers with trucks and helicopters seemed over the top for protection of a tortoise that has clearly survived despite more than a century of ranching by the Bundy family, and which the BLM had previously been slaughtering with the excuse that it lacked funding to care for the animals.
As reported by the Associated Press in August, the Desert Tortoise Conservation Center in Southern Las Vegas, funded by the BLM, was looking at killing half of its 1,400 tortoises because it could not afford to keep its doors open since the housing collapse resulted in less income from developers. Read the article and spread the word. Send emails. Use Facebook and Twitter. Get the word out that a growing band of Americans are standing against an overreaching and tyrannical Federal government.
“It’s seen by some as the latest battle over state and federal land rights in a state with deep roots in those disputes, including the Sagebrush Rebellion of the 1970s and ’80s. Nevada, where various federal agencies manage or control more than 80 percent of the land, is among several Western states where ranchers have challenged federal land ownership.
The current showdown pits Bundy’s claims of ancestral rights to graze his cows on open range against federal claims that the cattle are trespassing on arid and fragile habitat of the endangered desert tortoise. Bundy has said he owns about 500 branded cattle on the range and claims the other 400 targeted for roundup are his, too.”
“It looks like tensions will rise even further because Americans have had enough.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush insisted that many of the instances of illegal immigrants coming into the U.S. were “acts of love.” Though many of the human beings who enter the U.S. illegally or overstay their legally permitted time in the U.S. are doing so to earn more resources and provide for families, many of the illegal immigrants who come into the U.S. are doing so for highly criminal reasons–a fact often left out of the discussion or otherwise barely mentioned.
Breitbart Texas has provided 35 of these other “acts of love” for our readers.
1. Mexican Cartel Assassin Confirmed 11 Kills on US Soil, Confessed to More Jose Manuel Martinez, a Mexican cartel assassin, had at least 11 confirmed kills. He is originally from Mexico but obtained legal status in the U.S.
2. Illegal Immigrant Allegedly Tried to Kill Texas Border Agent An illegal immigrant fought with a U.S. Border Patrol agent and allegedly attempted to take the agent’s gun and kill him. The illegal immigrant allegedly attempted to choke the agent as well.
3. Previously-Deported Illegal Alien Convicted of Child Human Trafficking An illegal immigrant operated a stash house in Houston, Texas containing two children and 24 others. The victims were held hostage in the underwear, occupying locked rooms with boards over the windows. Authorities described the living conditions in the home as ‘deplorable’.” Read more at: breitbart.com.
Ever since Obama and his minions burst into the political landscape it has been extremely clear that he wants America destroyed. I get so tired of the mainstream, supposedly conservative pundits saying that he is incompetent. He is exactly the opposite. If you need proof of his success just look around. See any growth? Any prosperity? Any increase in your personal liberty? How about your kids. See any school curriculum that teaches the Constitution? See an abundance of opportunity? And I might add that he is also one of the most honest Presidents this country has ever had. He stated over and over again that he would transform America but no one cared. He has been very open about ruling with his pen and phone but no one will stop him. People in the Tea Party know the truth. And unless our politics prevail get ready for much darker days ahead.
“Chronic deficits, massive increases in the national debt, and persistent joblessness are part of President Obama’s plan for the “transformation” of America. You read that right: they are not a problem, but rather necessities as part of a broader plan to make America conform to their notion of ‘fairness.’ That America will be much poorer overall and that a far greater percentage of her people dependent on the government, which is a success in their eyes.”
“ An America that is ‘fair’ is one that is manifestly poorer; a country that has replaced growth and prosperity with the iron hands of state power, taxes, and dependence.”
Judson Phillips, The Washington Times:
“What do you call a team that has managed to lose consistently for the last 26 years? You would call them the Republican Establishment.”
“Now, the same group that has done so well in the last 30 years wants Jeb Bush to be the Republican nominee in 2016. The political establishment media has been almost giddy with reports that big-name Republican insiders and financiers want to draft Bush to run in 2016. Nominating Jeb Bush is about as bright as nominating John McCain or Mitt Romney. But then again, the people responsible for those decisions want Bush. One result will be the same.”
“If Jeb Bush is nominated, he will lose. Conservatives will not vote for him.”
“But when Mitt Romney won (the nomination) in 2012, conservative voters stayed home. 2016 will be a completely different story. Among conservatives there is already talk of a third party. The problem third parties have had in the past is either they had no traction or they nominated unelectable candidates.
2016 could change that.
If the Republican Establishment nominates Jeb Bush, conservative voters will bolt. At best, conservatives will stay home, and the worst case scenario for the GOP is that there is an attractive conservative who is running as an independent or a third-party candidate. The message for the Establishment is simple: Nominate Jeb Bush and conservatives kiss the GOP goodbye. The last time the GOP ran a real conservative, Ronald Reagan won with two landslide victories and today is the most revered American president except for George Washington”

Michael Farris is a premier expert on Constitutional government and a lawyer leading the Convention of States movement. Article V – Convention of States is one of the most contested topics in the patriot movement. In our effort to bring you the best of the best, the TTPN Steering Committee wanted to invite the most reputable speakers on this important topic. Because TTPN does not endorse either viewpoint, it was our goal to bring experts that present the issue in an effort for everyone to gain a better understanding. Mr. Farris will present his views and allow plenty of time for Q&A concerning both sides of the argument. This is a tremendous opportunity for us.
Gary Berntsen is the Southeast Regional Director of Concerned Veterans For America (CV4A) and a decorated CIA Officer. In his speech he will share some of his experiences, along with his views on our national and international situations. Concerned Veterans for America is a grassroots organization for veterans and is reaching out to tea party groups across the nation. Their grassroots organizing played an important part in the victory of David Jolly over Alex Sink in the District 13 Congressional Special Election.
Dan Peterson. Dan and his organization, Coalition For Property Rights, has been working with our legislators in Tallahassee to protect our property rights. Every year legislation is introduced that will rob us this fundamental right. This year, there is a bill entitled the Florida Springs and Aquifer Act that will set up a “Responsible Management Entity” to control your septic tanks in the name of protecting the springs. Dan will update us with the latest information on this and other bills in the Florida legislature that threaten our property rights.
Paul Henry. Paul has been working tirelessly for years collecting data and working with legislators to put an end to the unconstitutional law that presumes you are guilty of running a red light without an opportunity to defend yourself in a court of law. Real ID, implemented by the state of Florida through our drivers licenses, is another unconstitutional assault on our liberty requiring us to provide personal information for the privilege of driving a car. Paul will provide us the latest update on the bills in the legislature to halt these practices as well as other bills being followed by Liberty First Network.
