A Blow to Agenda 21: Defunding the Partnership for Sustainable Communities

September 11, 2011 by
Filed under Agenda 21/Sustainable Dev., Hot Topics

We just had a major win in the House of Representatives to defund the federal Partnership for Sustainable Communities. (SEE this website: http://www.sustainablecommunities.gov/). This funding has been using YOUR tax dollars to promote the United Nations’ plan to control our government. The Senate is now being lobbied to restore this funding.  We MUST lobby our Senators as defunding this partnership will be a major deterrent to the advancement of Agenda 21. We are asking everyone to email our Senators and ask to approve DEFUNDING in the Senate.  WE MUST get EVERYONE we know to send the message: WE DO NOT WANT the United Nations’ AGENDA 21 controlling our lives in America!

Agenda 21 And Massive Federal Spending Go Hand In Hand

This article underscores why our country is in such financial upheaval and showcases Agenda 21 overreach. Interesting that more money than ever is available from the federal government to purchase land for preservation (defined as never to be developed) taking advantage of a financial crisis forcing private citizens to sell to anyone with the dollars to buy. And our Florida Agricultural commissioner Adam Putnam is fully supportive of this usurpation of property rights. This is the  spending and abuse of freedom that is morally and financially bankrupting our country.

“USDA announced $100 million in financial assistance, the largest amount of funding Florida has received through the WRP in a single year, to acquire permanent easements from eligible landowners in four counties and assist with wetland restoration on nearly 24,000 acres of agricultural land in the Northern Everglades Watershed.”

Obama’s Latest Plan to Control Americans: Through His Rural Council

Tom DeWeese, one of America’s leading experts on the dangers of “sustainable development”, has started a petition to oppose Obama’s Executive Order #13575 that provides for a White House Rural Council, populated by his czars and poised to control all citizens.

“Obama has made his biggest move ever to enforce government tyranny across this nation.”

  • This move is more damaging than his destruction of the American health care system.
  • It is more dangerous to the economy than his failed bailouts.
  • It is more communistic than his takeover of the banking and auto industries.

Late last month, Obama signed Executive Order #13575 to create an absolute dictatorship over America’s rural lands. Obama’s land Czars are coming to the farms.

  • Executive Order #13575 creates a White House Rural Council.
  • The new council consists of 25 Cabinet Secretaries, chaired by the Secretary of Agriculture.
  • The mission of the Council is to:
  • “…work across executive departments, agencies, and offices to coordinate development of policy recommendations to promote economic prosperity and quality of life in rural America, and shall coordinate my Administration’s engagement with rural communities…”

That is top down – multi-jurisdictional enforcement of farming – right out of the UN’s Agenda 21.

This Executive Order, according to its first section, targets the 16% of Americans who live in rural areas. And it sets up “sustainable rural communities.”

United Nations Goal: Control Over Half of America’s Land

August 11, 2011 by
Filed under Agenda 21/Sustainable Dev., Hot Topics

If things continue along this path for much longer the United Nations will control over half of the land mass in the United States-foreign occupation by the consent of the sovereignty. Is this what you really want for your country?

“Almost all Americans know about the United Nations, but few know about Agenda 21, or the US government’s implementation of UN policies.

The UN issued several policies at the 1992 Earth Summit, one of which was the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).  Compliance with this UN policy is being driven and managed by the Wildlands Network which shares the same goals as the CBD; to set aside half the land in America for animals.”

And we in Florida are well on our way: “Floridians have given 28% of Florida (9.9 million acres) to the government.  Unless we stop these government land acquisitions we will all end up in apartments located on a little black dot known as a human settlement, as  presented on Figure One.”

U.S. Forest Service: Global Environmental Controls

The Feds are now avidly pursuing the global enforcement of environmental controls. The U.S. Forest Service actions described below are also occurring in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Montana, and Oregon.

IDAHO – (6/16/11, Capitalpress.com) “A county government in Idaho has filed a legal complaint against the U.S. Forest Service over road closures that allegedly limit residents’ mobility and discourage tourists.  Valley County has asked a federal judge to declare the agency’s travel management plan for the Payette National Forest as unlawful due to violations of environmental and administrative law.
“They didn’t do it right,” said Matthew Williams, the county’s attorney. “No appeals, no hearings. They just did it.”

The road closures by the Forest Service have also been happening in California, Nevada and other states.
Former Sheriff Richard Mack, in his book County Sheriff: America’s Last Hope summed it up when he said “The founders of America warned us that we would lose more freedoms from gradual encroachments by those in authority than by sudden usurpations from any foreign enemy…The COUNTY SHERIFF is our nation’s LAST LINE OF DEFENSE, for the preservation and return to, fundamental and individual liberty.”
The USDA (a member of the new Rural Council and the IUCN, an organization that promotes U.N.’s Agenda 21) used your tax dollars to send David Ferrell, Director of Law Enforcement and Investigations, to Canada for the 9th Conference of the International Network for Environmental Compliance and Enforcement (INECE) where “… environmental compliance and enforcement experts from over 50 countries gathered to identify new actions to promote enforcement cooperation to…support the shift to sustainable development…”
On INECE’s website, it states: “Agenda 21: An international mandate for building compliance and enforcement capacity as an essential element of environmental management… Agenda 21, Chapter 8, Section 8.21. Each country should develop integrated strategies to maximize compliance with its laws and regulations relating to sustainable development. Does this seem like the Forest Service might “promote enforcement” to make U.S. citizens comply with Agenda 21?  It’s important to know what the USDA is “participating” in:
“INECE is striving for a global network which starts first at local levels, networking among key institutions of government, the police, environment agencies, sectoral agencies; second among local groups and with related regional and national groups within nations; third, between governments and NGOs; fourth internationally in bilateral cooperation; fifth regionally among nations among all relevant groups; and finally, sixth, on a global scale among the various groups as needs arise and catalyzing ideas and approaches and cooperation around the globe.

The mandate for environmental compliance and enforcement was introduced as a direct result of the consensus at the International Workshop which gave the participants the confidence to move toward this very important international statement. Language in Agenda 21 empowered UN organizations to more actively support compliance and enforcement institution building activities.”
Regarding any mandate for USDA “enforcements” to close off roads, forests and public lands, remember the Tenth Amendment “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Sustainable Development: Your Basic Housing Tenement with With No Cars Allowed!

For those of you who may still doubt the direction of the City of Gainesville and Alachua County this article should help you see that our commissioners are determined to force us to adhere to the standards of the United Nations’ Agenda 21. Just take this article and compare it to the actions of both commissions. In 2012 we have the opportunity to oust three county commissioners and two city commissioners. Talk to your neighbors, your friends. It is up to us to truly sustain our community as a prosperous, viable place to live, with business opportunity and personal freedoms FOR EVERYONE!

“The HUD Secretary just announced on July 28, 2011 the availability of $95 million to support “sustainable local initiatives” through the fiscal year 2011 Regional Planning and Community Challenge Planning Grant Programs. It seems like a good idea except that it is dedicated to “sustainable communities,” another pet word of United Nations Agenda 21. It is a good idea if you want to live in housing tenements with no cars while the streets will be replaced by trains.”

Another Obama Executive Order: White House Rural Council

From our own Paula Helton as published in the Canada Free Press:

“While the media was keeping us occupied with 24/7 coverage of “Wienergate”, the Dictator in Chief signed Executive Order 13575 establishing the White House Rural Council. Remember Rahm’s battlecry, ” never let a crisis go to waste”.  For those still not familiar with Agenda 21, this comes straight from the U.N. playbook.

The first paragraph of this EO reads “By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America and in order to enhance Federal engagement with rural communities”.  Not only are the references by this man to the Constitution and our laws laughable, but just where does he get the idea we Hobbits in rural communities want enhanced engagement with the Federal Government? Expect a marked uptick in the sale of No Trespassing signs.”

Van Jones: U.S. Most Prominent Communist

“As WND reported, Jones launched a new organization two weeks ago that seeks to counter the tea party while petitioning for a progressive agenda that includes “making Wall Street and the super-rich pay their fair share.”
“Jones officially launched his American Dream Movement at a New York City event co-sponsored by MoveOn.org two weeks ago.

The movement has been described as a grassroots progressive group seeking to emulate the success of the tea party.

The movement, however, is anything but grassroots. It is already partnered with two of the nation’s largest unions, the AFL-CIO and the SEIU, which boast an army of millions of public employees.

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka recorded a Web video for the campaign.”

New EPA Rules Will Devastate Coal Industry

Even though Cap and Trade did not make it through the Senate, our leaders are still allowing the EPA to control us. Yesterday the EPA  announced its final “Cross-State Air Pollution Rule,” despite an analysis showing that the regulation, in combination with other EPA rules, would be among the most expensive ever imposed by the agency on coal-fueled power plants, dramatically increasing electricity rates for American families and businesses, and causing substantial job losses.

TEA PARTY NETWORK- Stop SunRail!

Floridians ~ Please take a minute to e-mail Gov. Scott  todayabout stopping Sunrail! And ask other Floridians you know to participate. The Obama administration is determined to control the states, and these rail projects are all a part of their end goal.

“Scott faces a Saturday deadline to decide whether to proceed with the 61.5-mile commuter train connecting downtown Orlando to neighboring counties.Tea party activists and other SunRail opponents plan to protest the project Tuesday when the state’s transportation secretary hosts public hearings on the topic with Orlando-area city and county officials.” See full article…http://www.tampabay.com/news/business/economicdevelopment/gov-rick-scott-faces-tough-decision-on-costly-orlando-commuter-rail-line/1177490
The governor wants to hear from the “We, the people” before he makes his decision on SunRail.  SunRail serves central Florida but building it will require all Floridians to be financially responsible for shortfalls and lack of funding.  Ifyou live in Florida, this is your tax money being spent for something that the whole state does not need. It is up to you to tell the Governor that the citizens do not want another exhorbitantly expensive commitment!

Anyone who is fiscally responsible does not want this project approved.

Agenda 21: On Your Doorstep

In a Gainesville Sun article (http://www.gainesville.com/article/20110618/ARTICLES/110619550/1139?Title=Innovation-District-east-of-UF-will-be-something-special)- the downtown project Innovative Gainesville and its attendant attributes are lauded as the cutting  edge of urban development. All of which will be funded by “public-private partnerships” (i.e., you, the taxpayer, foots the bill). Before one gets too excited about all of this it would behoove the reader to become educated about Agenda 21, the United Nations’ plan for “sustainable growth”. Included in these plans is Alachua County’s multi-modal transportation plan, a plan certain to be heartily embraced by everyone, especially the taxpayer. After all, who wants to drive a smelly old-fashioned car?

Read below…

“Many readers have not yet heard of Agenda 21, also known as Sustainable Development, though NewsWithViews.com columnists Tom DeWeese and Dr. Michael Coffman, two of the nation’s journalistic experts on the topic, write of it. In a recent article, DeWeese provided some quotes of individuals involved with ICLEI. This should explain ICLEI’s philosophy quite clearly:

“Individual rights will have to take a back seat to the collective.” -Harvey Ruvin, Vice Chairman, ICLEI. The Wildlands Project

“We must make this place an insecure and inhospitable place for Capitalists and their projects – we must reclaim the roads and plowed lands, halt dam construction, tear down existing dams, free shackled rivers and return to wilderness tens of millions of acres or presently settled land.” -Dave Foreman, Earth First.”
