    What shall we, the 60% or so, do before it is too late. The slogan of “99% versus the 1%” is in my view valid but the 1% is the government-capitalist (crony capitalist). Marx would start a revolution here today by slowly making the people so poor that they have no recourse but to fight each other in the streets for crumbs. How better to start a revolution with “useful idiots” than to have government to pretend to be their friend while destroying the peoples’ wealth and the capital for producing it. Most people have not yet realized who the 1% is. We, the Tea Parties, need to get the part of the 99%, who are not “useful idiots” and who realize who the 1% really is, to join in peaceful Tea Party fashion to change this — before it is too late. The media has yet to make the connection between Tea Party values and similar values of some of the “occupiers”. Let’s start making this loud & clear.

    All Americans have the SAME enemy to our liberty and pursuit of happiness. The Tea Party identified part of it- an out of control and ever increasing federal government. The OWS also identified part of it- the crony capitalists/Wall Street. BOTH the govt and Wall St work hand in hand with the corrupt bankers to control our politicians and destroy our freedoms.

    Again, we can thank the govt cohorts at the MSM for giving Americans their daily dose of FEAR and perpetuating the division amongst Americans, keeping us distracted with petty issues as our Constitution is dismantled before our eyes. The MSM and elite’s mantra is “divide and conquer” and it works quite well on the brainwashed masses. The Tea Party and OWS are not one another’s enemy. I agree Bill, the liberty minded Tea Party types should welcome the liberty minded OWS types who understand we must unite and fight the same enemy, not one another. OWS has it right to be out in the street and to stay for as long as it takes, but the Tea Party has it right by doing it in a peaceful manner.

    Let’s do an Occupy the Fed rally in Washington DC where the real crooks and liars are located. Let’s do it peacefully and respectfully like the 9/12 Tea Party rally, but stay there like OWS until we shame and toss the corrupt 1% out.

    Americans must UNITE if we want our FREEDOM.

    It has come time to alter or abolish our current govt and this revolution IS taking place now. It is a peaceful and intellectual revolution and the goal is to restore our Constitution to its founding, ensuring liberty for all. Some in OWS and the TP get this, but those who are still stuck in the two party system don’t.

    PS As our Founders warned — form no political parties. That’s what I like about the Tea Parties — support individuals that support the Constitution but support not a party. Since we are at the “grass-roots” this cannot be difficult. We must all observe and pitch in to support our principles. There are not many and should not be many. Stick to the root issues from which all other issues arise. When we quiz a potential candidate address all issues of the time but listen to the answers and check them against the few root issues.

    Trevor, who I’ve had the pleasure of meeting on two occasions, is from New Zealand. Lately, he’s been spending about half of his time here in the States speaking to groups all over the country and waking people up to the fact that we are losing our freedoms and liberties to Socialism and that we are well on the way to losing our Republic. He knows that we are the last great hope of freedom, and that if we lose it here, they will lose it in his home country, New Zealand, and everywhere else in the world.
