Hillsdale College is unique in that it stands for educational independence and does not accept any government funding!

“Located in Hillsdale, Michigan, Hillsdale College was founded in 1844 and is an independent liberal arts college that offers numerous four-year programs including bachelor’s of arts and bachelor’s of science degrees and offers unique opportunities for its students. The college operates upon the twin principles of institutional independence and academic success and does not accept federal or state taxpayer subsidies in any form.”For the first time ever, Hillsdale College is offering an online Constitution course based on the course Hillsdale College students must complete for graduation.
It’s called “Constitution 101″: The meaning and History of the Constitution. Hillsdale College is reknowned in that it has never accepted any governement funding in its history; it was also on of the first colleges to integrate minorities into its student body dating back to the mid 19th century.

This is a 10-week course on the US Constitution that is offered FREE to everyone who wants to understand and defend the timeless principles of liberty upon which our nation was founded.

“Constitution 101″ begins on February 20, 1012 and concludes the week of April 30.  It will cover such topics as the Declaration of Independence and its connection to the Constitution, how the Constitution is structured to protect individual liberty and endure good government, the crisis of constitutional government faced by Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War, and its modern challenges during the “Progressive” era.

All of the classes will be taught by Hillsdale College professors.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about our US Constitution.

  1. I had posted the below on another thread but it is actually more appropriate on this one. We can learn our Constitution inside and out and backwards but that is not our problem. The problem resides on our government no longer abiding by it and how we are going to restore it. Talk is cheap, let us put our words into action.

Judge Napolitano was an avid defender of our Constitution, our best tribute to his departure (firing) from Fox News should be to continue his work.

Want to get involved and do something about restoring our Constitution instead of just whining about it?

Sign the petition at the “Give Me Liberty” website and share it with your friends.

Perhaps if the liberals who control our education establishment had continued the teaching of the Constitution in detail, as they did when I was in school, then we’d have a population that KNOWS and RESPECTS the Constitution such that the politicians wouldn’t have such an easy go of ignoring it. Learning about the Constitution should NOT have to be a proactive thing. It should be spoon-fed to all Americans in school as much as basic math or language skills. Hell, they currently feed them enough socialist crap now! Just a thought.

It isn’t just the Liberals. Only Ron Paul wants to abolish the Department of Brainwash Education. Both the Republicans and Democrats have made sure that ignorance abounds in our nation.

Thanks to the Internet people are finally getting an education and seeing how they have dumb our citizens. They have deprived generations of our people the nation’s real history and fabricated their own.

Did they teach our citizens the truth about the Federal Reserve and the Council on Foreign Relations? Oops, how could they accidentally omit that from our text books? And this is just a drop in an ocean of historical omissions. It takes years to relearn the real history they have concealed. I have been doing it during the past three years and everyday something new is learned. This of course is not just a discovery of the truth but also of the lies.
